Privacy policy_

How your personal data is handled when you use ddv.cat or contact DDV Solutions.

Data controller_

  • Name: David Delgado Vendrell, trading as DDV Solutions
  • NIF: 46817342Z
  • Address: Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain
  • Email: solutions@ddv.cat

Within DDV Solutions there is no Data Protection Officer (DPO) appointment. Designation is not required by law for this scale of activity. Data subject requests are handled directly by the data controller at the email address above.

What data is collected_

DDV Solutions collects only the data you voluntarily provide, in the following situations:

  • Contact form (/contact): name, email, company, role, company size, country, engagement of interest, estimated budget, timing, free-text description of your challenge, and the optional referral source.
  • Newsletter signup: email address.
  • Direct email correspondence: any data you include in messages you send to solutions@ddv.cat.

ddv.cat does not use cookies. Aggregate, anonymous traffic statistics are collected via Cloudflare Web Analytics — these statistics do not identify you and do not require your consent under EU law.

Purposes of processing_

  • Respond to inquiries you send through the contact form or by email.
  • Evaluate whether the engagement you describe fits one of the productized engagements offered by DDV Solutions, and propose an adapted scope or refer you to a partner if appropriate.
  • Send the Transformation Field Notes newsletter to subscribers who have explicitly requested it.
  • Maintain a record of professional correspondence for the duration required by Spanish commercial law.

Legal basis_

The legal basis for processing your data is your explicit consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), given when you submit the contact form or subscribe to the newsletter. You may withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future.

For correspondence retained for fiscal or commercial obligations, the legal basis is compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).

Recipients and processors_

Your data may be shared with the following service providers, acting as data processors on behalf of DDV Solutions:

  • Web3Forms — receives the contact form and newsletter signup submissions and forwards them to the email address of DDV Solutions. Web3Forms operates under its own privacy and data processing terms, available at web3forms.com/privacy.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts ddv.cat (Cloudflare Pages) and provides cookieless edge analytics. Privacy notice at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, transfers are protected by the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or by another adequate safeguard recognised under Chapter V of the GDPR.

Your data is not shared with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes, and is not sold under any circumstances.

How long your data is kept_

  • Contact form submissions and direct correspondence: kept while the conversation is active and for up to two years afterwards, unless a contractual relationship is established (in which case data is retained for the duration of the relationship plus the period required by Spanish commercial law).
  • Newsletter subscribers: kept until you unsubscribe. Once you unsubscribe, your email is removed from the active list.
  • Fiscal and accounting records: retained for the period required by Spanish tax law (typically six years).

You have the following rights under the GDPR and the Spanish LOPDGDD:

  • Access — you may ask for a copy of the personal data DDV Solutions holds about you.
  • Rectification — you may correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure — you may request that your data be deleted, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Restriction — you may ask that processing be limited under specific circumstances.
  • Portability — you may receive the data you provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Objection — you may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Withdrawal of consent — you may withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future.

To exercise any of these rights, write to solutions@ddv.cat. DDV Solutions will respond within one month of receiving your request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos) if you believe your data has been processed in breach of applicable law. Contact details: aepd.es.
